  1. Nice ride. Ya missed the plate on pic 4 Edit: A little jealous of the "C-Ya" plate LOL
  2. Nice. Made appt. for new shoes today - going with Cooper AT3 XLT (LT275-70R18). I "guess" $1000 isn't horrible installed
  3. Nice. What color is truck and Acadia? We happen to have a 2015 HD and a 2017 Acadia. Somehow, we ended up with both vehicles in the same color (Tungsten / Iridium, but paint codes are identical).
  4. Good luck with it all. Feels like a nightmare at best. Nice truck too. I didn't care for them when introduced, but after seeing real world pics and a couple on the road, they look good.
  5. Bummer. Glad no injuries. We are dealing with very similar damage to our 2017 Acadia. You will be surprised - ours looks about the same as yours and there is $7000 worth of damage. I can't believe police didn't come out. We had no injuries, but I called 911 anyway. She should have been cited and you should have gotten a report. It makes all the difference - you could have started claim with HER insurance. We filed claim with other party's insurance - I didn't wait on him. Edit: Cop rolls by hot right after you hit her. Nice.
  6. Just skimmed your build. Beautiful. Always loved the silver look!
  7. Added LED lights in grill this weekend. Came out great! I used threads for info on lights, etc. - thanks for all who post how-tos!
  8. X2 Gearhead. Love my Silverado, but yours makes me miss the silver Sierra 1500 I had. I loved the silver and the look of the double cab.
  9. Looks good. I don't have clearance lights, but will post a pic once I get my LED's installed in the grill (Raptor setup). I've thought about lights by the step bars.
  10. All good info. I plan on doing "raptor" style in grill on my HD since I don't have the clearance lights. Probably put an ID bar under tailgate. I'll post a pic when I get around to doing it!
  11. Your truck/trailer look familiar. Were you working the pipeline in NE Ohio this summer?
  12. On way to MB. Trailer is level - parking lot has a crown.
  13. Emblems look good. I was going to do that with my silver Sierra. Not sure on the darker Silverado.
  14. Buddy pulls a 12-13k fifth wheel. He has a 2012 gasser with 3.73. Truck struggles on the hills. Our TT is about 8500# loaded. Hardly know it's there. I averaged 8 MPG on trip thru mountains. Mostly it's a pavement princess, but I do tow with it. If you're tugging 13k+ on a very regular basis, you may want to look at diesel.
  15. Tungsten Metallic, which is very similar to GMC Iridium.
  16. Part is "upper intermediate steering shaft" - PN 23381952. I mainly felt it on floor board, but I did sort of notice it in steering wheel. Seemed better after pickup, but I haven't hit the one ramp where it was very noticable yet. If you're under warranty, by all means ask them to check it out!
  17. ** UPDATE ** Took truck in for oil change and explained rattle. Middle steering shaft link was replaced under warranty. We all hate the "stealership", but for those in NE Ohio - Marhofer GMC has been awesome for many years.
  18. Your flaps look more like the universal kind. Big's are factory, but similar to the Weathertech's. I had front Weathertech on my Sierra. Plan is to get front and rear for the Silvy. You can get both from Advanced Auto website for about $60 using promo codes. They are as good as advertised!
  19. Awesome thread everyone. I've noticed it is a little difficult to see backing up at night now with windows tinted. This will help alot!
  20. Post a frontal Catman - I'd like to see your bull bar. (oh...that almost sounds dirty )
  21. You can feel it a little. While looking underneath today, I wondered if the torsion bars "Rattle" under certain, rough road suspension articulation. Yes, 4WD. I'll have to look at shock mounts a little closer, too. Thanks!
  22. Stupid question for those used to torsion bar suspensions... I bought used HD with 30k miles on it. Drives great. I've noticed a "rattle" over certain road conditions. Sounds/feels like front end is loose. I've never had a 2500 before, and because truck drives very well, I'm assuming it's normal from road conditions. Any input? I'll be due for oil change soon, so may have it looked at as I do still have factory warranty. I'd just like to know if I'm overthinking it. Thanks!
  23. Ended the 1500 run today. Got a good deal on a 2015 8-lug.
