Yes, for the price they did a great job! I would be surprised if they lifted the body from the frame to do the undercoating and don't know why they would tell you that they did!

It sounds like you are on top of the situation and need to see the preparation done prior to them reapplying any coating. Keep pictures like you have here of the process. I have owned many trucks and lived in areas with pretty harsh winters and have not seen this type of rust pattern on the oldest of my trucks. If I was in your position, I would take these pictures and a copy of the "appearance warranty" for preliminary legal advice. Your truck is safe and you will probably not own it long enough for rust to be a problem. However, as it is, your chances of a good price at sale time are pretty slim!

Truck looks great! It would also look fine with black mirror caps and door handles but not better, imo. Black and chrome go well together. I wouldn't add any more chrome but switching your current chrome to black wont enhance your stunning and classy truck!

It is a good trade if you like the look of the black. I prefer the looks of the chrome bumper on your truck.

Sounds like a problem with an individual not the brand. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your truck. I have been a GM fan for many years and have never experienced this vibration issue on a new truck. Some of my older vehicles have had vibration at higher speeds but always fixed with tires & balance. It wasn't too long ago when 8 ft. box's were the most common sight. Now they stand out. Any pics?

"Banks specialize in lending funds" and employ advisers who offer good financial advice. I don't visit a bank and increase my debt load unless that is what I want. I use their expertise to help me manage financially through a hopefully long retirement! A well established financial institution has bigger goals than to take advantage of individuals struggling with personal finances. They know strategies to help you better manage your money and they are familiar with services available to help you deal with your current debt.

Many of us can share similar stories but no two situations are the same. I would see a financial professional for advice. Sometimes you may find a good adviser at your local bank. You may also find help at any union or professional organization that you belong to or that you belonged to in the past. Replacing your truck may or may not be the best long term solution but I would not base my decision on recommendations found on the internet. I can recall two situations in my life when I downsized vehicles to resolve financial pressures. Both circumstances were quite different. Both times, I received immediate but temporary financial relief. Long term, I would have been better off not selling and I regret not seeking help from those more knowledgeable in this area!

Welcome to this forum! I am interested in hearing more about your experiences with your new truck. I came very close to buying a hybrid Sierra 1500 in 2009. I think this is a great power option for the type of driving I do but is no longer available where I live. I have a locking aluminum box in the back of my truck to keep all of the "stuff" I want in my truck for emergencies or occasional usage. I like to keep my back seat area clear of junk. There is plenty of storage up front for the items I need to keep close at hand!

This will look really good on your truck. It will be a nice fit and not look out of balance or too heavy. Please be sure to add pictures to this thread when installed!

Nice truck! High Country? Good plan to keep it stock, at least for awhile! I keep my eyes open for an oem set of wheels for a change in appearance but I like the looks of my stock wheels too much to let them go!

I would phone my dealership and ask what options are available to me with respect to towing my vehicle in for warranty repairs.

Just your steering wheel shaking? This reminded me of the Tim Conway skit where he is experiencing severe turbulence in the economy section of the plane but the seats in front of him are not! I agree with other comments that it sounds like you have a good service department working on your truck and hopefully you will soon have a smooth running truck!

You should read some of the other threads on leveling and lifts on this forum. There is a lot of reading, but spending the time now can save you a lot of money. If you don't want to take the time then I highly recommend you take the advice offered of getting a 2" level. (1.5 is even better, imo). Your truck will appear level, maintain its current ride qualities and is not expensive. FYI, You will need an alignment following any modification to the suspension.

This sounds like a decent price for a front and back level/lift! With this amount of lift you could fit a larger tire or with less lift you could still fit the sizes you are considering. Be cautious of the argument that one size is only a "1/2 inch" taller or wider than another size. This variation can make a significant visual difference. Saving money and/or weight by choosing a size smaller than you truly want may make no difference to the casual onlooker but it will bother you for a long time! Ask me how I know!

I prefer driving a pickup and a truck has been my primary transportation since 1971. The new pickups get exceptionally good mileage over their predecessors which makes them a viable vehicle for everyday pleasure use. I thought I would have to give up driving a truck during retirement because of the cost of operating, but no need!

Considering your changes your mpg isn't "really poor".

Several years ago I was involved in one of the earlier distracted driver (cell phone) accidents. Four vehicles were damaged and some injuries incurred. I was impressed with how well everybody behaved, took responsibility and helped one another. The cause was not easily evident except for the honesty of the driver causing the mishap. I can't express how much stress this took off an already horrible event and how much respect I had for this individual! I want you to know how much I appreciate people like you who have the guts to accept responsibility for when they are at fault!
