  1. Just found this thread and seeing the pics of these trucks has me very excited for my upcoming order, Placed my order on 04/26 for my CC Standard bed, Pacific Blue Sierra Denali with the Walnut brown interior, this will be my 5th new GM Truck however it is my first ever factory order, i'm interested in anyone who might have suggestions on the best way to keep track of its progress be that through a dealer, through GM or online? TIA

  3. Looks awesome! Really like how well integrated those AMP powersteps are, is there much retrofitting required to make them operate properly? I like the design of those better then the factory power board that only slide in/out and dont really tuck out of the way at all.
  4. Havent personally ever had this issue with my 17' but perhaps you could try the old top gear method: 1) Stand just beyond whatever point the remote entry stops working 2) Hold the end of the remote tight against the temple of your head and press the lock or unlock button This will allow your body to become essentially a large radio antenna booster so If the remote entry then works its an easy way to know its a weak signal issue either from a low battery in the remote or an issue with the receiver within the truck.
  5. +1 For Column Shift and proximity key I love that GM is has stuck with the column shift even on its high end Trucks, both Ram and Ford assume as soon as you want a premium truck you must want a console shift like a luxury car, but as others have mentioned even in Luxo trim guys still do actual work with these things and the column shift is the most efficient for keeping maximum console space while still having the positive feel/feedback of changing gears compared to Rams rotary dial. I wouldn't mind seeing the proximity entry especially now that the tailgate lock is tied in with the door locks, several times I have come up to the back of the truck carrying something heavy and it would be very nice to just grab the handle and have the tailgate unlock rather then trying to fish the keys out of a jacket pocket
