    Did it today in a little over an hour, was pretty easy. I’m happy with the outcome.

    I’ve got version 509 and tonight while backing up the screen turned all blue and said in small letters “service back up camera”, then it came back on its own in about 5 seconds.

    You can also stream XM through your phone to the Radio as well. On older GM vehicles the XM was a separate module, I'd research that.

    It’s a true lift, warrantied by GM, not being ripped off, actually it’s a reasonable price for OEM parts and dealer installation

    Most if not all discounts offered by GM are defined by delivery date, if there is say a loyalty deal in December and not offered in January and your truck comes in during the month of January then you lose the December incentive unless there is a vin assigned to your vehicle and you sign and pay for it prior to December 31st. Some incentives will be offered the next month and some will not, some new ones, maybe better ones can be offered in the next month. I buy many GM vehicles for my company, 40-50 plus a year and my dealer will help me with the dates, we wait till we’ll say 01/02 and if 12/31’s deals are better we will back date the paperwork to 12/31. Deals are typically only valid at time of delivery.

    I’ve been seriously considering this kit just because I won’t have to pay nearly that much for it or the installation from the dealer and it will not effect my warranty but I’m concerned about the difference in ride quality since I have the HC. Has anybody done this kit on a HC yet?

    Are you saying a truck you ordered came in not as you ordered? If so I’d be demanding a loaner truck until they get the truck you ordered.

    Huh? The dealership put on the wheels that are on your window sticker and they take off the black steel shipping wheels and return them to the factory, not sure what you're taking about with taking something off that you're paying for when you are not paying for the shipping / in transit black wheels.

    They won't, supposedly $1,500.00 core charge, they are supposed to be returned to GM, You can buy them on eBay though.

    Mine has been doing the same thing. There is a software update that the dealer can do that supposedly fixes the issue, I just haven't gotten there yet.

    Mine did the same tonight, and all my info settings were wiped out. Had to redo all my settings when it slowly rebooted itself while driving 50 MPH.

    Ok, that would make sense then, if it was to save money I’d probably have done the same.

    I did, I used my phone for a hotspot but from what the screen said is the truck has to be off for it to update and once you turn the truck off the hotspot turns off. Maybe it’s alread downloaded but not installed? Who knows.

    What am I missing here, why would you pay and sign for something that you don’t have? So many different scenarios could happen that I couldn’t pay for something that expensive that I can see and touch first.

    IDK either, it’s not dirty and when I went back to the dealer they took me out to 2 other trucks and their Back Cams looked the same as mine, we didn’t try the nav because the data cards weren’t installed. I drove a 14 HC Friday and both the nav and back up screens were better than my 19.

    Are the updates available even if you don’t subscribe to Onstar and don’t have the WiFi plan?

    I would have no idea which camera I have, where would I go to find out?

    No structural damage equals easy although expensive fix but easy nonetheless. That really means that your trucks should be as good as new if not better than new due to probably not having a poor GM paint job anymore.

    Mine just did an update 2 days ago, no idea what it updated as it doesn’t tell you but it sure didn’t update the nav or cam screen clarity.
