  1. I don't have any experience with your 1st or 4th issues. On the 2nd and 3rd issues those are normal. Yes it's the fuel pump and relays shutting down. I experienced this with both my 2023 and my 2021
  2. I went from a '21 SLT to a '23 Elevation. Both had the 5.3. For me the change in the dash was worth it, and honestly the '23 seems to ride better and also is quieter. I also noticed the 10sp in the '23 with the updated shifting programming is a significant improvement over the '21. Overall I'm much happier with the 23 than the 21. I hope this helps.
  3. I went from a 21 to a 23 also and have noticed the same thing with the heated steering wheel being much hotter. I prefer this as my 21 was just warm at best.
  4. I've owned GM, Ford and Ram trucks over the last 20 years. All purchased new. Prior to the 21 SLT, I had a 2018 F150 Platinum with the 3.5 Ecoboost. I had issues with that truck (door latches freezing, massaging seats didn't work, moon roof rattled from new, engine cam phasers replaced at 20k miles just to name a few). Given it was a platinum the build quality was poor. I think the F150 was built in Kansas City. Honestly the fit and finish on my GMC's is significantly better than the F150. I was really disappointed in that F150. I know everyone has their preferences and opinions, but I so wanted to love that F150. Prior to that one I owned a bunch of other F150s in the past, so that wasn't my first one. I typically keep my trucks 3 years or so.
  5. I've had the 23 for a month now. Just under 1k miles. Love it so far. The 21 was an SLT Premium Plus. The 23 is an Elevation Premium package. Both trucks have the 5.3 10 spd. Honestly the 23 feels more like a luxury truck than the 21. Crazy to think it is the same platform but the 23 is quieter and rides better.
  6. I just got a 2023 Sierra that was built in Mexico that was an ordered truck. I had similar concerns as you. I had a 2021 SLT built in Ft Wayne and now have a 2023 Sierra built in Mexico. I have no issues with the 2023 Mexico build and feel the fit and finish is just as good if not better than the 2021 Ft Wayne build. The 2021 had some issues. The windshield had scratches on the inside of the glass when it came off the truck (requiring replacement before I even picked it up), and within the first week the rear sliding window leaked. So far no issues at all with the 2023. Granted the 2023 has the new dash and interior, but it seems quieter when driving it. Very happy with the 2023 so far. I hope this helps.
  7. I did the same thing as AJMBLAZER did (two posts above). My rear slider was leaking the first week I had the truck in December 2020. Dealer performed the TSB back then. Within a few weeks it started leaking again. I also sealed the top of the window (completely filling the channel). To date still no leaks. Easy to do and good results.
  8. Sorry for the delay in responding as I just saw this post. Dealer had the truck for 3 weeks total due to parts delays. So far the truck is good.
  9. God for you and I hope your good luck continues. I've had my 21 SLT since December 4th. So far windshield has been replaced, rear window leak, lifters replaced and the battery has been replaced. All under warranty, but doesn't bode well for durability and dependability. I do love the truck but hate having so many issues. Good luck to you with yours and I truly hope you don't have any issues. .
  10. Just got my truck back. 21 SLT 5.3 10 spd, 7500 miles. Had a faulty lifer on 7/16. They replaced all 16 lifters. Hopefully this is solved, but I'm concerned about future failures.
  11. Dealer just called. Lifter failure. Truck is a 21 5.3 10 spd with 7500 miles. They are going to replace all 16 lifters. No ETA yet on when the parts will be available. Totally pathetic.
  12. 2021 SLT 5.3 10 spd. Built 11/2020. 7500 miles on it. Dealer just called and have a faulty lifter. Dealer says they will replace all 16 lifters, but no eta on parts yet. I don't driveit hard, so it sucks that they have to tear into the engine with so little use.
  13. I have the same isue as Bruce Stein above. 21 SLT 5.3 10 spd 7700 miles. This morning while driving first heard the engine noise - between a tap and a knock. Then rough idling. Then the Inst Panel went nuts displaying service ESC and other messages. Luckily I was only 2 miles from home. Having GM Roadside Assist come and get it. It sounds like I have the same sysmptons as others have mentioned in this tread. I'm assuming either a lifter or valve spring issue. Called dealer and they can't look at it until Monday. They also won't have a loaner for me until Monday. I will post updates in this thread as I move along with this issue.
  14. I love the look of the AT4, especially the exterior, but I ordered and bought a 21 SLT with the premium plus. I don't use a truck off road, other than the beach occasionally. The biggest reason for this for me was I didn't want the off road tires and off road suspension package. I was looking for the quieter and smoother ride, so that is what made the decision for me to go with the SLT. No regrets and love the truck.
