  1. Did you get the console from me too? I don’t have customer names/forum names linked. . So if you did, thank you for your patience! GM is on a severe backorder status on these and we must have depleted their inventory and likely having to manufacture more. I’m sure with Covid, that is making things worse too. I’ve been checking daily with my supplier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I can vouch for Wingsaa. Met him personally. Great guy to deal with! GLWS! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So on the RAM seats, I suspect that the seat itself will need a main power branch circuit to power the motors. That power comes from "somewhere". In our trucks, that main power line comes from the forward fuse panels. So if both your factory seats are powered now, then those power circuits are there, at the floor connection. You would essentially splice/tap that to your new seat connector, wherever that power/ground is on the seat connector. In theory, that should take care of the power adjust movement of the seat. Again, just an assumption here. As for the other items related to SRS (Safety Restraint System), there are a # of things our trucks will look for and validate if present or missing. So if the seat belt buckle connector is not plugged in, seat position sensor not connected, or anything else related to the airbag SRS, the airbag light will come on, and will disable the entire system. No big deal, but in the event of a crash, nothing will deploy. The seat position sensor is magnetic sensor that determines the position of the seat and sends that info to the computer. This tells the SRS if the seat is all the way forward, to deploy the airbag Stage 1 vs Stage 2 (where the seat would be all the way rearward). You wouldn't want a Stage 2 deployment if your seat is all the way forward.
  4. I'm here and actually subscribed to this post since I figured I would have been tagged A few things about this. The method of gaining power on the RAM seats all depend on those seats themselves. Since I have no knowledge on that side, I don't know (or feel comfortable) that I could build a harness that could make the connection from the floor connector to your new seat connector. In addition, there are other variables to consider outside of power requirements - Airbags, seat position sensor, seat belt buckle, seat belt pre-tensioners, etc. etc. On the factory truck seats, the main requirements to get power (whether its 6, 8, or 10 way seats) is by landing power and ground to the connector. If you unplug your seat connector, these are the larger pins on each corner. The largest pin is the ground, the 2nd largest pin is the power. By getting power to this, the seat should move. I would expect this to be the same in the RAM seat, but that's an assumption. Once you get power, then there will be the SRS - airbags, seat belts, etc. You can get the GMUpfitter directly from GMUpfitter. The floor connectors are labeled as X310 and X320. If you are able to identify the RAM seat power requirements, that might help.
  5. Shoot. Yes! Forgot about that too! Glad you found it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That one is a PITA. There is only 3. I use a ratcheting box wench with a swivel on it. That helps. I also think having the right extension if using a socket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yep. Unfortunately, the harnesses you bought for those mirrors, the switch, the door panels, etc won’t work. Reason is because they are configured for trucks with seat/mirror memory. In a memory configured truck, the commands to move mirrors, fold, etc are handled differently than trucks without. This is why custom harnesses and specific switches are needed. The reason the switch doesn’t quite fit the connector in your DL8 harness is because GM used a different connector on purpose. If you forced the switch (like many do), you’ll blow a fuse (Fuse #8 on the driver side fuse panel). If you replaced the wiring (or door panels) you will also lose all mirror control (which you said you did). So... you have to revert all the wiring back to factory. Reinstall your factory switch. Replace fuse #8 if it’s blown. Order the harness from the site (you found the link), order the fold switch I have on the site as well. https://harnessdr.com/product/gm-power-fold-switch-23154702/ Hope this helps. 8. 1. No sir. The used truck market is crazy for me not to consider selling. This will also allow my to focus new developments on T1XX trucks . Will continue to support products and services on K2XX. 2. Truck sits in the driveway and I work from home. . This ain’t no pavement princess. More like a driveway Queens ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Putting feelers out there on selling my truck. Any interest here? KBB private party books it at $41k in the top end. $39k midrange. 2016 LT - 1500, 5.3 V8 - 39K miles. Options added to be considered an LTZ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. This is due to Covid - GM is on a severe National Backorder status with these. I have customers waiting almost 2 months now. You can contact me at HarnessDR.com - If you have a 2016 - 2018 Truck, you can order here: https://harnessdr.com/product/16-pin-center-console-conversion-harness/ Lead times are about 3-4 weeks at this time. If you have a 2014 truck, you will need to remove your jump seat, extract the harness, and send it in to me. I'll then rebuild it and send it back to you. If you have a 2015 truck, we have to confirm which version you have. https://harnessdr.com/product/23-pin-center-console-conversion-harness/# Contact me at HarnessDR.com - Since you have a 2015, we need to verify which version harness you'll need. As for carplay/android auto conversion, that's a separate upgrade process that can be done by WAMS (www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com) - Here is the link of that. https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/product/2014-2015-5-c-k-platform-car-play-upgrade-retrofit-programming/
  11. I do not. I have completed this retrofit on 3 local trucks. In order to fully integrate seat memory, you have to use factory DL3 Harnesses, Factory DL3 Fold switch, factory door panel harnesses (both sides), swap passenger window switch for a DL3 Memory switch. You’ll also need to remove all DL8 wiring and install DL3 wiring in both door jamb connectors on the dash side. In addition, you have to install wiring from both door jambs to the driver seat memory module. Lastly, programming of the seat memory module and the cluster. It is VERY extensive and not a DIY harness that I can produce to sell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I’ve got a similar issue but on my son’s 2014 VW Jetta. I just put a new oil pump in but have other work I still need to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Contact me at HarnessDR.com If you don’t have installed yet, I’ll have to perform a quick battery test using a 9v battery so I know how the lights operate. Their eBay listing is confusing and contradicts their wiring diagram and connector pin layout. Include your original message and provide as much details about your truck as you can. 15. Since the rear turn signal uses two bulbs, you want (1) 3 Ohm resistor OR (2) 6 Ohm resistors per side. The fronts need (1) 6 ohm resistor per side. If you cannot get 3 ohm resistors for the tails, you can use (2) 6 ohm resistors wired in parallel per side. (2) 6 ohm. (1) 3 ohm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The update usb hubs will have the six (3.5mm) jack. You’ll only lose the SD card slot. So while your usb hubs may work, there is chance that it wigs out due to limited bandwidth of older usb hubs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. This is tied to a BCM Calibration. So if you are looking into a WAMS Spec BCM cal, this will eventually be an included option. Keep in mind, that the device has 2 main features. 1. It has out of the box features/options. 2. It is a programming device to program your BCM with custom calibrations. BCM Cals are a separate purchased item. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. I am very, very sad to hear this. Brandon is a customer of mine. We shared MANY text messages about our trucks. Sometimes those messages came during the early morning hours of the day or late night hours. Sometimes, he would forget about the time zone difference then apologize He was VERY passionate about the mods he did. He also shared his fight with me during the time of his treatments. There were a few people that I shared my cancer fight with. He was one for them. We exchanged text messages during the 1st rounds of treatment, but nothing after that. I just assumed all was ok and that he would reach out to me for the next mod... so I am very sad to see this notification today. I did find his Obituary and a GoFundMe account setup but don’t think I can post here. Rest In Heaven Brandon. Rest in Heaven. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Cargo Lamp in Motion! You've asked for here it. It is now a reality! Custom BCM Programming by WAMS - (www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com). Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. What year is your truck? Dim puddle lamps usually occur with 2014 trucks and generally need a diode to correct that. Are also saying you can or cannot adjust the mirror? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
