  1. Tech package only, not standard on any trim. It's a great feature, I love it. I don't think the normal auto-dim mirror has a sensor hanging down like that. Thought it was just a "dot" at the top of the glass.
  2. Same glass panels in a better frame, maybe? Eh...probably not.
  3. Cheap one from Amazon here too. Works well with just about any wash soap and minimal fiddling. Little extra effort with having to drag the pressure washer out, but it does a good job and can actually save time washing.
  4. An LTZ Z71 has the same diameter tires and the same ride height as any other LTZ. The Trail Boss is the only Chevy that has a 2 inch lift from the factory. FWIW, the tires on a Trail Boss are actually shorter than what’s fitted on the LTZ with 20” wheels.
  5. Not enough 2021s in circulation for long enough to have real data, so the 2021 list is simply a projection based on consumer studies over the past two model years. In other words, CR is saying the 19s and 20s are unreliable, and the 2021 may be as well. If anyone actually paid attention to CR, I might be worried about my resale value.
  6. I have the same issue. But all I could find was one for the HDs. Maybe I am just missing it. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10178963-9999.pdf
  7. Just re-read and noticed you have a 2019 HD truck. That’s on the old (K2) platform, so nothing in the thread I linked to applies. You may get more assistance in the 2015-2019 HD forum.
  8. Good luck is all I can say.
  9. QR code in the drivers door jamb now.
  10. Had the same thing happen. Some effort with the pressure washer and a brush got it off.
  11. Just curious, is the normal, non-lighted accessory bowtie showing up in the system for your truck? If so, I would imagine the lighted one would fit physically. The clips are in the same places for either emblem, I’ve installed both on mine. In regards to the shutters, I don’t have them, but going back to page one, it sure looks like his HC has them. They are visible in one pic taken between the core support and the grill support. In the end it might be something you just have to take a chance with. I mean, selling it here if it doesn’t fit would be the worst case scenario and you could certainly recover most of the investment.
  12. Just noticed it’s actually the same thread, lol. Anyway, I’ve seen a few other HCs with the lighted bow ties. ?
  13. Yeah, I would say it’s only a matter of time, but that time might not be until the next platform, and/or when they electrify these things. You can see the pumpkin hanging down on this 22 Denali, so it’s safe to assuming nothing is gonna change for lower trims either.
  14. No IRS thankfully. All test mules including a High Country have had a solid axle. There would have been something captured by now if it was in the cards for the next model year.
  15. “Manufactured to meet and conform the the requirements of GM 998-4297, corrosion preventative compound, high temperature, hot melt, black, dippable.” No, I don’t have a sworn affidavit from Mary Barra that it’s the only product they use. But it’s easy enough to read the tea leaves or I wouldn’t have made the statement I did. Why else would Daubert be producing a hot dip product designed specifically to meet GM standards?
  16. Yeah. Funny because the 2021 20” wheel appears to be the same exact casting as the hideous 2019-2020 Trail Boss 20” wheel. What a difference changing the color made. But changing the tire size still makes no sense.
  17. GM has used Daubert Nox-Rust frame wax since at least 2014. Seems more likely that the Krown changed, or varies by location if it’s mixed on site, or was over-applied? No clue but the GM side of things hasn’t changed.
  18. GM ain’t gonna touch that mess. Definitely looks like the Krown reacted. Factory coating ain’t the greatest but I pressure wash it all the time and never have that happen. Gonna have to take everything you can reach to bare metal and re-apply something. Hope for the best inside the frame where you can’t reach and keep it fogged with Fluid Film or something.
  19. Well if a tune is make or break, be aware it’s a very expensive proposition on the T1s with the need for an unlocked ECM. I also would not be in a hurry to void the powertrain warranty on these trucks. Wait another year, pay that thing off and look at the 2022s.
  20. My condolences to everyone who has lost someone to Covid, either directly, or within the indirect statistics nobody measures. If the loss wasn’t bad enough, the lack of proper memorial services is something I will never forgive our leadership for. If there ever was a reason for a hard exemption to all restrictions, that would be it. Allow the family and friends to decide for themselves and weigh their own risks. Skipping or limiting funerals further limits people’s ability to heal and grieve. It’s not right. My mother in law’s funeral back in March had 10 people, single chairs spaced in 6 foot circles. Couldn’t even sit next to my wife and she couldn’t sit next to her father. To state the obvious, we had virtually no cases in the area at that time.
  21. Yeah, my 19’s a pig compared to my 16. These new trucks are a lot bigger, so any benefit of the weight reduction and added gears is wiped out by the giant frontal area of these things. At least that’s what I think the difference maker is. I don’t really care though. Gas is cheap. For now. Mine will do an honest 20 MPG at 70 with the 6.2/10/3.42s. Bump it to 80, and I’m lucky to see much over 18 unless we are on some flat ground. I would imagine the 5.3 should do a little better. Maybe it just needs to be broken in a bit more.
  22. If you asked me when this first started, I would have guessed people would lose weight during Covid. Eating at home instead of going out, not drinking at bars, not much sports on TV, etc. Depression is the only answer I can come up with as to why people are gaining. Eating and drinking their feelings. Nobody knows the impact of all this and nobody seems to care.
  23. Looks like almost all Adam’s products are on the Black Friday sale on Amazon. Picked up the Graphene tire dressing and their complete Graphene paint coating kit for less than $100. Probably gonna use the coating kit on my boat. But my truck tires will look good!
  24. I know some people aren’t in love with the idea of the Apple Watch, but if you have an iPhone it would be perfect for you and your goals. It keeps track of steps, calories burned, workouts, idle hours, etc. It even cheers you on throughout the day. You can review your stats on your phone for each day, or even through the course of years once you’ve had it long enough. Really has helped me keep in somewhat of a shape even though I slack off a bit in winter. The Series 3 is very inexpensive now, just bought my mom one for Christmas.
