Other Programs for Your Vehicle What's this? GM Program #: N192265660 Date Issued: Jan 07, 2020 Program Title: Rear Window Defroster Thermal Events - US Only - Exp. 1/31/2022 Program Description: Certain 2014-2019 model year Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles equipped with a power sliding rear window (RPO A48) may have areas of high electrical resistance on the rear defroster circuit. This could be caused, in part, by mechanical stress from opening and closing the rear power window, intrusion of debris, and use of the rear defroster. Over time, this condition could generate heat that could melt the areas surrounding the circuit. In rare instances, this heat could cause a non-propagating fire, increasing the risk of property damage or injury. Repair Description: Dealers will replace the buss bar covers and contact cover. If the rear window or sliding glass assembly appears damaged due to an occurrence of high electrical resistance on the rear defroster circuit, they should also be replaced. 14. I'm 20 miles N.W. of Minneapolis. It's 20 degrees colder just 200 miles north of here. This winter has been a piece of cake compared to last year. Only had 12 days/nights below zero. And only 42" snow. It will be 30 above here Saturday. I'll probably wash my trucks in my driveway with hot water in the pressure washer. I do it every time it's close to 30. Beats wasting $10 at the gas station plus I can douche the undercarriage to wash off the salt Neighbors think I'm nuts. The ball joints are Kryptonite . That's how they can lifetime warranty them. They make them . Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks Bro I can't wait for spring. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. Oh yeah. Those are nice setups just ask TXGreek. If you have a 4 Wheel Parts by you check their labor price I have them installing my McGaughys 7 to 9 set at 9" , new UCA's, rear blocks and add a leafs. bolting on my already mounted and bead balanced tires and alignment $1162 out the door. I stopped looking around when I got that quote. Two others came in at $1900 and $2400 . Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. Are you doing anything for the rear? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  18. Me too. I'm super jacked. These will be a killer addition to my build. It's going to be badass. You should have them early next week. When are you doing the install? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  19. Don't worry you guys will get pictures. My Daughter has a new camera. Big lenses. You should see the pics it takes. [emoji44] I really don't think you could go wrong with either. I went with the Kryptonite's because of their reputation in the 2500-3500 Chevy's. They have every front end part on them trucks . Mucho heavy duty o. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  20. Here you go Bud... Nice welds. Wish I could weld that good. Grease zerks 6 total. I'm curious if the stock LCA's have grease fittings. I doubt it. Also Josh from Kryptonite said they are coming out with some LCA's soon Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  21. Another box of parts showed up today. I've been going back and forth between the Kryptonite, Cognito, and the McGaughys UCA'S.I went with the Kryptonite's. So now all the pieces are in place. I got my Kryptonite UCA's today from Alligator Performance. Very happy with these . Now back to waiting for the snow to melt so I can get this done. Sucks, big cold front last night it was -17 here this morning -34 wind chill. -19 tonight but little wind. Balmy compared to last year. C'mon spring??️?️?️?
  22. I got mine today. I ordered them from Alligator Performance. I forgot I had a $100 gift card from them from a few years back and they took it. They were $499 so I got them for $399 +tax Nice packaging . A can cooler? A diesel magazine, no decal[emoji3525] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  23. CovetedStyle is right the ones he mentions are all good. It's really a matter of what you like. He has run the Cognitos and no issues. The one type of UCA'S I would avoid are the tubular . They just look cheap. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
