Bose is quite good! Worth it. Phone has to be less than 80 percent for fast charge to kick in.

Agreed, none of the wireless chargings I've seen are useful. It's almost always phone-specific, not standardized. As for USB-C, it seems to work well with my phone. It's a Huawei P20 Pro.

Yes, there's a wireless charger option that goes in the glove box but it won't be hooked up to Android Auto. Don't think you can do it wirelessly as of now. I just tested it again, my phone does indicate "fast charging" but I didn't measure it.

My old F-150 had only the regular USB plugs so I used the slow-charging USB to USB-C cables. Since the charge was so slow, I had a QC 3.0 adapter plugged in the cigarette lighter if I wanted to charge it up quickly but would not be able to use Android Auto. When I saw that my new Silverado has USB-C plugs, I figured it was time to catch up and bought at least ten USB-C to USB-C cables. I also replaced all the USB plugs at home to USB-C. It's 2019, ya know? Now, I can quickly charge my phone with Silverado's USB-C plugs and be on Android Auto at the same time. The regular USB now charges my LED flashlight. I'm glad Chevrolet didn't make it all USB-C, I think the regular USB has a good fifteen more years to go before becoming obsolete. The regular USB can only go up to 2 or 3 watts, while USB-C can deliver up to 100 watts. My phone does up to 36 watts and I'm showing fast charging on my phone which is nice! No more deciding between two cables. If you're not sure why there's USB-C in your truck, now you have your answer. You may need to buy a USB-C to USB-C cable to fully benefit from it.

Others said to get the AFM (Active Fuel Management) disabler but the 2019 models have DFM (Dynamic Fuel Management). I think all RST's have DFM. Only 360 miles on mine and it's very unsettling. I'm starting to suspect it was responsible for shifting my rear end on a dirty road about a foot off, placing me at a dangerous angle while driving on a straight road, forcing me to suddenly jerk the steering wheel. That could be a liability issue for General Motors. They can easily look at the dirt pattern to see that I wasn't accelerating or braking. One could look at the dirt and see that the rear wheels changed gears suddenly, causing the truck to be off angle-wise. The "black box" in the truck will verify I wasn't speeding.

Next to OP's name is "Drives 2019 Silverado RST" which is the same as mine, so I thought it was the same vehicle. That's why I chimed in, assuming he wasn't used to it.

Coming from the F-150, I thought my old one was too dark and my new 2019 Silverado is perfect! I think it does that to prevent static which is common with digital cameras in the dark. Any darker, I'd expect grey spots on black surface.

I am having the exact same thing and I think the transmission is hunting for gears sometimes. A few times, I had it jerk back and forth, especially at very low speeds. I thought it was the auto/stop causing the hesitation so I turned it off along with AC on full blast but it did that still. It also created a safety issue for me because I had just turned on a straight road that was dirty then let off the gas about 20 feet before the dirt patch. The transmission shifted with a loud clunk, causing the rear wheels to shudder on a rough terrain and the back end was about a foot off. I had to suddenly jerk the steering wheel. That being said, I think it was due to the transmission, I was going only 35 mph and had slowed down by removing my foot off the gas before hitting that patch. I mentioned that in another thread and the fanboys were all over me for that one. I'm surprised they're not here attacking you.

My $54,000 RST with Z71 was bought at $9,750 off (dealer and GM incentives). No loyalty since I wasn't a GM owner, still, that was a damn good deal for an all-new Chevrolet.

I thought all were LED. I believe mine is.

I still have no idea why the default was "off" - I loved that in my Audi and VW. Why can't GM just have it on instead? It would bring so much joy!

I do see it there... but it says it's not active when range selection mode is active.

Another option would be to get a taller wife, but if this one's a keeper... My Ford F-150 had that, could not get that on my 2019 but I'm the sole driver.

I'm new to this forum, my apologies for the intrusion. I just traded in my 2016 Ford F-150 for this.. a 2019 Silverado RST Z71. That was when it was just a day old.. last week. Since then, I've added in running boards and spray-in bedliner. Probably will remove the "Silverado" in the back and change it to "Cheyenne" like the Mexicans since I'm usually down in Mexico. Really impressed so far, getting used to it right now but it's all good so far.
