    Just ordered up a new air filter and added some diesel treatment. Went up and back to Milwaukee, my rolling 50 mile avg is now at 27.5

    When I asked the finance guy last Friday when I was picking up my baby Duramax what he thought of Ford's electric F-150 commercial and $500 million "investment" in Rivian, he said "somebody has to be first to fail". Guess he didn't get the memo.

    I just traded my 2015 5.3 Sierra for a 2016 Colorado Trail Boss Duramax. Have yet to tow, but it doesn't seem to be lacking in power whatever the numbers are.

    Just got my 2016 Colorado Duramax Diesel yesterday, with 56,000 on the ticker. Seems like it has more than enough torque to get the job done. I never found it wanting on the 30 mile ride home.

    They did the update without much fanfare, did not notice much difference afterwards. At any rate, I found a Colorado Trail Boss with a Baby Duramax, and the Green Machine is gone as of today.

    Off to the Stealer tomorrow so they can jury rig the ABS pump to pick up the slack for the 2 pennies they saved on the cheap ass main pump. I guess this sort of thing should not shock me, but I'm not any less disgusted. When I was still working in QC, not a day went by when some engineer would not drop in the lab demanding we make room in the schedule to test some bushing or washer that was half a cent cheaper. Damn bean counters.
