  1. I don't have any big complaints with my truck's adaptive ride shocks/ struts, but curious if anyone's swapped them out - did the High Country's on here come with them? How do they compare?
  2. I went with a Ready Lift levelling kit for mine. No issues so far (~15k miles). It came with a bracket to reangle the adaptive ride arm. It did not adversely affect the ride or handling noticeably IME.
  3. I went with a 2" levelling kit for the front, so I think it's more like the rear is 2" higher.
  4. Thanks, I'll try that.
  5. Thanks! I'll have to do a little research on those.
  6. I recently cancelled Onstar, and now, once a trip, I get a request to put in the Onstar password. I choose the option, "Don't remind me again", and still, every trip, get this message. Anyone know how to get rid of it?
  7. I'm curious - how do you know it's in 9th gear? There's no gear number shown when driving in D.
  8. I didn't realize I still had Onstar. I cancelled my data plan after a few months of paying for it, and asked to cancel Onstar at the same time. I never received an invoice or receipt from Onstar, not even a notification of the fee increase (which almost doubled this past year). You know you don't offer a valuable service when you have to sneak it by unsuspecting clients.
  9. Love my 3.0 diesel. I was on the fence between it and the gas options, but if something happened to this truck, it's the only one I'd consider. Smooooth, quiet, and torque right from a stop. Really easy to drive smoothly, and not as much temptation to drive like a delinquent. Plus, I believe the diesel is the only engine that gets the 5 year/ 100k warranty.
  10. The dealer didn't steal it, they threw it in the trashcan. They should be aware enough to check for non-standard software before replacing everything with the update.
  11. We don't really have a choice. These need to be developed and will take a few iterations to perfect.
  12. You talk like we've got an unlimited supply of oil, and we're doing this just because some people want change. We've got a few years left to figure it out, but we probably shouldn't kick the can down the road for too much longer... World Oil Statistics - Worldometer (worldometers.info)
  13. LOL Guess they don't have solar panels where you're from.
  14. Nobody is going to have a lot of vehicles available until the chip shortage is sorted, so pent up demand will likely have everyone selling whatever is available for the next couple years. And for everyone saying its ugly - don't buy one. No need to go online to tell everyone your negative thoughts.
  15. Nope. After driving my wife's BMW with auto start/stop, I always felt stupid having a vehicle that kept running and wasting gas while sitting at stop lights.
  16. From last year, before the levelling kit.
  17. I swapped out my Denali 22's and chrome rims for AT4 sized Falken Wildpeak AT3's, and have been really happy with them for wear/ noise/ grip (especially in the snow), but also would like to size up. Unfortunately, it looks like they gain 10 lbs per tire going up to 275/70-18's. Interested to hear if anyone has experience with the size Duratracs you're talking about.
  18. Wish there was a set of smooth ones w/o fake bolt holes that didn't stick out 2.5". I got a set of Bushwacker Extend-A-Flares that are too much for the AT4 sized tires I have, and then put them back in the box. 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Bushwacker Extend A Fender Flares | RealTruck
  19. I've also been looking for skid plates for my Denali 1500. I think I cracked the lower front plastic one by driving through deep wet snow last winter.
  20. I have the Denali and have always wanted to swap out the grill for an AT4. I bet the camera is angled on the AT4 grill differently because of the 2" lift, although I haven't noticed any issues after levelling my truck and not adjusting the camera angle.
  21. New rear door speakers (Infinity Kappa 62ix), because my kids complained that all they heard is bass in the back seat. Can't understand why there aren't more than 2 speakers in the rear. It's an improvement, but might be swapping out these for ones with separate tweeters.
  22. Oh, and 25 mpg over that 32,000 miles, lots of that mountain driving, some of that pulling a camper.
  23. It's just a little 4" grinder, think 4.5 amps.
  24. This has been my only real issue, and it never actually reduced speed. 32,000 miles on mine now, couldn't imagine trading it for any other engine.
  25. The one in my Sierra 1500 ran my angle grinder no problem. Haven't tried it for anything else.
