    No, there is no designated place. You can place it wherever you want. I routed my wire along the sub wires and then under the dash. Used double sided 3m tape to place the knob at the bottom of the center console. IMO, came out very clean.

    Really, Ken? Neither the OP's post nor the follow up post mention anything about being in gear while trouble shooting the issue. Quit trolling. @mjonesjr84 I have a Note 9 and 21 Trail Boss. Haven't experienced that issue. Sorry can't be of more help.

    Installed driver/passenger swingcase toolboxes made by Undercover for Gm. They fit well under my Lomax trifold cover. Happy with the storage solution so far.

    Watch the S&B video they put out on YouTube and then when installing use the QR code directions. I did it just under 1.5 hrs taking my time and being thorough. Easy install, 2/10 difficulty. Love the sound!

    I ordered one yesterday and it shipped out that night. Their website shows the dry filter kit still in stock if you want to order one. May get lucky. Anyone put the 2019-2020 gas intake kit on a 2021? Any compatibility issues?

    The power source I used is not always on. Wasn't concerned about parking mode. The info for how I did it and wire harness can be found in this thread.

    I would like to thank everyone in this thread! I was able to install a dash cam in my 2021 LT Trail Boss seamlessly. I'm usually intimidated by things like that, but all the info here really help. For anyone with a 21 the wire harness was tucked up in the headliner as described here. The wires matched the video shown here by location and color as well.

    The spare bolt is not 8mm. It's smaller. I used a bolt I acquired from Lowes in the meantime but my ocd wants an oem one. Anyone know where to get one?

    Hey guys, hoping someone can help me find this 8mm bolt from the distribution block inside the fuse box that's on top of the battery. Mine just cracked right off. Anyone know where I can purchase one? Tried my local dealer and they want me to buy the whole thing for lots of money when all I need is one bolt.     This has happened to me in my 21 LT Trail Boss with 6.2L 10 speed going from P to D. Less than 300 miles. I'll keep and eye on it.

    Is there any pre indicators that might happen prior to full failure? I have a 21 LT trail boss with 6.2L. Yesterday, I had a loud tactile pop occur while backing out of the drive way. Almost like an acorn landing on the vehicle but way louder. I checked everything and nothing hit me. It then happened later in the day. 2 incidents same day. Has not happened again the last few days and I can't reproduce the noise. Thoughts?

    I have a 21 LT TB short box. There's lots of good options, but I went with the Lomax black urethane finished tri fold. Very happy with it so far. Really like the low profile design with no rubber gaskets on the sides. Luke at Truck Alterations hooked me up. I purchased, Thanksgiving day and it arrived Tuesday the following week. $675 for matte shipped no tax or $710 shipped no tax for black urethane finish.

    I have to give a shout out to Luke at Truck Alterations. I emailed him yesterday during the holiday looking for a black urethane Lomax. Not only was he responsive, he also had the best price. $710 shipped. The matte model is still $675. Thanks GM-trucks for passing along the info!
