  1. I don't know which one yet. Used Corsa black series last time and had an amazing sound. Think they were discontinuing them back then though. Your local muffler shop will know exactly what to use as far as inlet/outlet offsets and such. I actually just got another quote as I was picking up one of my work trucks from a shop. They said 240. I'm in Delaware, but should be similar. Might even find it cheaper in your neck of the woods but honestly if you don't plan on full headers and other engine mods, a simple muffler swap is your answer! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  2. I'm on the cut out and replace muffler team. Save the money for a tune or maintenance. You'll achieve the same thing. My 15 is stock but did this on my 07. 5.3 uses 3"pipe. I got a corsa muffler at 2.5 in/out. I know most will disagree, by reducing the diameter I kept similar back pressure as aftermarket mufflers are more free flowing. Sounded great, and saw slight improvement on mpg. Wasn't going for that (had 8" lift and 35s)buuuut it was noticed. My 15 has 160k on the clock so might not do much to this truck as it's a work beast mostly, but local shop told me 250 for magna flow installed. Might just do it! Either way, you'll get your truck to sound like it actually has a v8 in it. I also ALWAYS drive in manual mode in 5th (6spd trans) and keep it out of final gear and it doesn't go into v4 mode. Any drone problems solved! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. Sits about even with the HD. Nice! Looks great ma! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. 150k and stock bearings. I have them ready to go as I know I'm getting close. I'm extremely pleased with this truck. She hasn't had an easy life and it's holding up just fine!
  5. Our guys just finished up my sister's roof! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. 12 days until pictures! Yessss!! My dealer is calling me when they get one. I test drove a Denali for a couple of days while they fixed my A/C.
  7. That's what I want to see! A standard bed! Just on a crew. I hate the short bed trucks and always felt they were not proportional or as usable. Just my 2 cents! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. I'm at 150k and just changed my transfer case fluid. It looked OK. I tow/haul heavy frequently and I was never concerned. Last truck had more miles, harder life, and I never changed the fluid in that. Not sure how many miles on it now but I sold it like 4 years ago and just saw it driving down the road the other day. Don't do a ton of 4x4 though. Just inclement weather and rare off roading. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. Actually...I have. I don't see your point here. I'm well aware of the Ram bags that help level, but we are not talking about the Ram... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. Really? A truck comes with rake? Wow! Listen people, trucks are built to tow and haul, not to be level like your wife or sisters car! When loaded heavy or towing heavy, the rear squats to accept the additional load. If it's level before additional weight, then it's going to squat lower than the front and not be set up properly or safely. Get over it already.
  11. 15' Max tow - Cayenne metallic. Level front, add a leaf and shocks rear. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  12. Moving the trailers around and figured good time for pics! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  15. I'm at 124k now. I've changed out the air filter three times, oil changes, tires, and brakes. That's it, and zero problems w/o a catch can. I have new wires and plugs ready to go. Also swapping out all fluids, new Trans filter, adding new leaf springs and shocks, ball joints, and level kit. After that I'll be ready for another 12ok. My goal is 300k on this one. 16. No catch can. I've thought about getting one, but obviously it's not a problem! I believe in the "drive it like you stole it" methods to keep my vehicles and toys alive. Obviously I'm not slamming gears, smashing the go pedal, but I'm methodical with the way I drive my vehicles. Hard on them? Perhaps, but like I said I do it in a manner that I'm not hurting anything or applying hard/crazy force to them. Hard to explain I guess. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks man! You'll get there quick with a 140 mile round trip each day! My commute from home to my office and back is 90 miles, but I'm usually in 4 states each day checking on jobs and meeting with customers all over. A lot of start and stops. The starter still fires up fine, but I do have one on stand-by in my garage as I imagine it'll go soon with the overuse it gets. I do regular oil/fluid changes in everything. Engine, diffs, transfer case, and will be doing the trans again. The trans cooler has never let my temps hit above 194 and I've towed pretty heavily a bunch of times. I drive aggressively, although in a safe manor(to the truck and others) frequently too. Sorry...carrying on again, but I have nothing but great things to share concerning this truck. It's not my first GM truck, just the one I've had the most miles on. The other two, a 04 Colorado (3.5l 5 cylinder @ 90k) and my 07 Sierra (5.3l 4spd with 8" lift and 35s @ 80k) were also flawless when I sold them. I'm a GM fan for sure. I do have my eyes on the new F250/350s though!! We'll see what these 19s produce! Good luck everyone! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  18. Just hit 120k on my 2015. I plan to write up a little review of the last 2 or so years with the truck. I honestly drive it pretty hard. With the nht package, the 3.73s with the 6spd really pull in my opinion. I drive in M-5 only to keep it out of v4 mode. Anyway this truck either hauls weight or tows daily. I keep up on regular maintenance but this truck has needed no repairs. I just replaced the stock battery a month or so ago. It has new brakes (upgraded them), 3rd set of tires (33s this time), but that's it. Tire shop told me the lower bj was bad so ordered all new Moog uppers, lowers, tie rod ends, and a level kit. The ball joints were all fine. They lied to me to try to get me to let them install it all, along with the leveling kit for some insane price. I let them know in person that they lost my business due to BS'IN me. Anyway, I just received my AAls, New rear extended shocks (stocks are still fine), trans filter/fluids, spark plugs and wires. Going to do all that but like I said, regular maintenance only. I'm very happy with this truck. I'll probably need a new one in 2 years, but I have a goal of 300k problem free miles. 19. About 10.5k lbs. Love this truck! Almost to 100,000 miles! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  20. You'll be fine. I was towing about 8k regularly for a few months. Normal Trans temps all summer. I change my diff fluids every 25k, but it's rated to tow the 10.xk I believe. I have the 6spd (2015) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  21. Did you read the post? Lol..."without any issues"
  22. I know this is for 14's but just rolled 31k on my 15.
  23. I didn't burn it out. Still works. Just wanted to try it.
