  1. Going to need that further back(full truck) picture when you can please! Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  2. Why don't you want the rear slider? Im trying to find a truck with one. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  3. You'll have alignment issues immediately after cranking. Everything I've read and after cracking torsion bars in the past, an alignment is required when cranking them up. Then another when adjusting back down. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah, no one will know factually. Just wait. It'll eventually get to you. It's in their best interest to get you the truck. Good luck! I'm ordering mine this week hopefully! Was trying to buy one this year to write off, but NO ONE has the truck I want. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  5. Especially for 14,000lbs. Your truck will handle it just as well. The 10spd is a great trans, but I'd say it's more for getting crazy heavy loads going and keeping them going. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  6. I really like those! Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  7. For my truck it's about 48-50lbs Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  8. For tire set #4 I went with the BFG ATs. I had these tires on my 04 Colorado and loved them then. I do a little off roading and get snow here so justified them that way. They are a good looking and performing tire. That's not to say there are not others out there that don't perform/appear as good. Just had good luck with these. I rotate, monitor my tire pressures, and check wear religiously so I know I'll get the miles out of them. Before these I had Nexen ATs. They were great tires too. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  9. Ouuu this one adds visual appeal to the engine bay with a performance oriented style. You spent 700.00 for something that looks like a performance mod? Ouch! Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  10. A flash is required? Wasn't aware an intake changed much. I just disconnected battery, installed, connected battery and started rippin' Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  11. Your post is a little confusing, but if I comprehend correctly, they installed it and charged you, but now say they made a mistake and didn't charge you enough? Yet, you think the charge they are after was included in your original total/payment? As long as you have proof, shouldn't be an issue. Or, just tell them to pound sand. The subject says re-tune so still confused haha Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  12. That makes sense, I just never realized or noticed somehow. I pride myself on being pretty knowledgeable about all GM trucks. Current stable includes a 8.1L/Alison and a 6.0/6spd. I'm checking them out today! Thanks for the info! Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  13. I don't ever recall the rear end on the 2500s being a different size based on gas or diesel. Trans yes, but not rear end. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  14. They probably update it and need an approval for each edition. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  15. I had a semi local station that carried it... Then they went out of business and closest after that is too far. :0( Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  16. That's awesome! Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  17. 172k and still going strong on my 2015 5.3. I change air filters every 40-50k, 7-9k oil changes, did plugs at about 110k. I also fogged the motor with Sea foam at about 100k. I also force the system to stay in v8 mode by keeping the trans in 5th gear. Hoping to hit 250k with this one. Shouldn't be an issue. Replaced entire A/C System at 130k Rebuilt Transmission at 170k Other than that just brakes and other preventative maintenance like fluids for transfer case, differentials, greasing here and there. This truck has been cared for, but it's also been put to work hard almost daily. I'm very impressed with the overall quality. People seldom believe it has the miles it does, especially after seeing interior. I keep it clean but nothing fading, ripped, broken, ect. Cloth interior.
  18. The 15, but 90k with 35s on the 07 and bearings never failed. 04 Colorado with 87k and 33s and they remained tight then too. That truck did not have an easy life. This picture was the first day I had it. Temporary tag was submerged once I pulled through that mess. As of this weekend everything in the front end of the 15 was silent. I started hearing some chatter/popping similar to the sound of a bad strut or shock. Thought, "well, those lasted longer than I expected." Took a quick look and saw the my drive side sway bar end link sheared off at the control arm. Picked up a new one yesterday and will install today. Back in business. 200k here I come! 19. I've never seen the topic discussed. Max tow has extra payload capacity so usually that means extra stiffness. Max Tow with the right amount of weight in the bed...butter. Honestly the difference would be marginal. I have a 15 crew std bed on 20s and 33 ATs. I think it rides fine. Stiff, but it's a truck and I needed the extra payload and towing. I will say this truck has been an absolute beast and still going strong at 170k miles. Still smooth!
  20. If you plan to go off road, opt for 18s, more sidewall rubber
  21. I've been waiting to see a crew with std bed like I have now. I hate the look of the short bed on a crew cab. I used my bed almost daily and I need the little extra space. I always hated my 07 crew with short bed. I was soooo happy when they added std box to the 1500s! Tommy... Maybe a side shot so people can actually see the proportions lol Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  22. 15 Sierra Crew/std bed, 5.3/6spd max tow. Have over 150k and still going. Not 1 issue, still looks and drives like new considering the abuse she's been put through. This bitch works hard and keeps coming back for more! Aside from 3 sets of tires, light bulbs, level, aal, and shocks, I haven't done anything, except routine maintenance. No catch can. Wait! I had the ac condensor and pump replaced. Unfortunately NOT under fuggin warranty because that's been gone for a year. 1100 later and my ac is fresh again! Only thing I do is drive in manual mode in 5th. Keeps it in v8 mode. I don't baby this truck at all. When not towing or hauling i drive it like a race car. 373s with the 6spd make it feel quick/fun so traction and stabilitrac are turned off often! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  23. I always heard and felt the Flow Masters to be a little too loud/aggressive compared to MagnaFlow. To each there own Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
