  1. Grab the longer end links as well
  2. Don't get the OEM sub system. There are many better options for the same/ or less
  3. Did you see if the end links are rubbing? https://youtu.be/Og5WesDiIPs?si=OPC05BiutqywnkMX
  4. Swapped out the 4p70 22s for some 18s. Fuel Vapor 851 18x9 +19mm with 295/70r18 MT Baja Exp. Used a 10mm spacer and riding on a cognito 3" with fox shocks
  5. Hey thanks. I found a Katzkin set that I really liked. My previous experience was on older import cars and they all had hog rings. Super glad to learn that these don't. Talked to a couple shops and basically you just cave to slice in the new straight clip runs (vice straight). I'll throw some pics up once installed
  6. You're crazy blue is the best color lol. If you don't mind what did you get for trade in.
  7. Wanting to update my OEM 'leather' to something softer more upscale. I found a set I liked but it says its only for some 22-24?? Apparently they went from a rounded insert to square. Looking at it, I dont see how they arent compatible unless the hog ring locations moved?? Any idea why it wouldn't work?
  8. You will be fine. Those speakers will never see that total 125
  9. Grab some adapters and slap some 8" in there
  10. After much back and forth have decided on the cognito 3" lift for my Rst. I will be adding TB CV axels as well Question what's the difference between the two shocks? There's an option for either with the Elka's being a Lil more expensive. Did a search here and wasn't much on them. Using the Google, it was mostly about their ATV products. For ref currently on 5100s, only off roads are service roads, light rails and fields
  11. Thanks. That's what I figured and thought. I just don't understand why cognito couldn't say that even though I provided all my info and even reasked with more specifics. For ref, here is the kit I'm looking at with TB cv axles https://cognitomotorsports.com/cognito-3-inch-performance-ball-joint-leveling-kit-with-fox-ps-coilover-2-0-ifp-shocks-for-19-23-silverado-sierra-1500-2wd-4wd.html
  12. I try and research before asking but at this point my eyes are crossed. Currently using 5100s for a 2" level but want to move up to 3". Also running 22x10 -18 with 285/55s. As I'm looking to move 3" I'll be at that limit of needing UCAs. I had my eyes on the cognito kit but started to read that some have issues with tires rubbing the UCA. Obviously not ideal. I figured out my wheels have a 4.79 back space and the cogs need 5.75. I asked them if would work and they gave me the company line "abt this is our recommendation" I spoke with another rep and they said I would need a 6mm/.25" spacer. As my 285s already stick out a good bit, the last thing I want to do is push them out further. Compounding the issue, I just bought new rims and tires two weeks ago. So replacing those is also out of the question. So when discussing backspacing, if it says works with a 5.75 backspace does that mean it has to be less or more than 5.75 in order to work? I thought since I have -18 and theres quite a bit of room from the stock UCAs to the falkens currently, I figured I'd be good. If the cogs don't work out, are there any other quality UCAs that would work with 4.79 backspacing?
  13. You can hit up MTI audio or sounds good stereo
  14. No new additions?
  15. Awesome. I'm surprised as I've felt 4" is pretty high. Sharp truck mate,
  16. To clarify. As I see the z71 badge, was your truck lifted prior meaning this is 6" total lift or 4" from a non lifted? I ask because you ran the ready lift 2" previously I believe and liked the look of that
  17. Like Dan said. It's a major PITA. Plan on it taking 2 days. You basically clip all the hog rings and remove the original. That's not too bad. Then you have to go back and rehog tie the new one and it takes forever. I would look around for some reupholsters/installers. They can knock it out in half a day
  18. Heres my 22 285/55 on basically a level (bilstein 5100) Wheels are 4play 4p80r Just had to pull the liner back a bit up front.
  19. They are really good. Will need a decent 50w or more to really enjoy them. Also high recommend getting the gs25s for the dash.
  20. 22s just look so good on these trucks. I bounce back and forth abt returning to 20s but just can't
  21. https://youtu.be/yKkvxClIHOM?si=t12ZC1B5VX8T1vHo
  22. There are 2 seperate versions. One for manual ac controls /7" and one for automatic ac control /8"
  23. Probably. There's a reason they all came out the same time and look the same. Though autotec has a different display listed.
