  11. That's crazy. Are you the original owner? To your knowledge has the part pictured above been replaced before? If so, it may have the upgraded part and installation. One other thing, it could be a wiring problem. This has been reported by several members
  12. Does your state require vehicle inspections. If so, many states require the cap to pass inspection. You might try there. Or simply try a new cap. But I'd bet your problem is not the cap
  13. You can have the cap pressure tested. Look on the back of the tank for the cylindrical part. It also goes bad to dirt being ingested into the part
