No... drone is drone.. the only noise cancelling trucks are the 6.2 powered ones anyway. Mine is a 6.2.. it drones like any other truck. Swapping from MBRP to my Borla ATAK improved it to a more tolerable level. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

I dunno... mine was too easy. It was clunking more around town and delayed bad shifting out of park. Told the local dealer service guys about and they booked it in and said it sounded like it needed the stator TSB. They had it one day, tested it and then gave it back while they ordered parts. Once everything came in ( took about 3 weeks) they had it 2 days and it's been pretty good. Time will tell. I am approaching 25000 miles on my truck. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

The only turbo option I see viable is armageddon. I don't want some dumb big single on a real driver... because in all reality they drive like garbage. Blower... well... I don't want a tvs1900 if I am spending the money and Whipple is just meh to me... I have been watching a guy on pt that is running a procharger on his 5.3 and he is basically maxed out now fuel wise... makes around 700 whp though. He has a cam with a bigger pump lobe and the LT4 Vette injectors and high pressure pump.. that's the real limit on these direct injected ones anyway. No idea. Ask General Motors. Why does the paint on the drivers box side just get destroyed to the point I am having it repainted in about a week from now on a truck that only sees pavement... there are many unanswered questions here. However unlike most that stand and complain I will do something about it.. it is what it is. A propane torch let me reform that intake tube and I gave it a wrap of black tape just to build a cushion where the intake tube attaches. Huh.... mine was full of dirt from my airbox lid being damaged. Otherwise I would have never removed the intake manifold unless I had a purpose like a blower. ... fuel system upgrade etc. I didn't pull it to clean valves lol. My truck only has 24000 miles on it... the valves look great! You guys read too much stupidity on this website and somehow think it's real world lol. Ripped the intake manifold off. Intake is easy. .. that retarded plastic pos cover they attach on top is ridiculous. I had the manifold on the bench and that stupid thing was still above the heads because it wouldn't come off. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

Took my 1990 K5 Jimmy in for its out of province inspection today. I was worried but I knew the truck was good... You just never know. They phoned to let me know it needed one high beam headlight... Odd as they all worked but I gave the go ahead. Get there... The light worked just the plug worked it's way loose lol. The guy mentioned I had no daytime running lights.. But after fixing the high beam he hadn't looked... You drl's back on lol. I washed the old girl and pulled the topper up to remove some silly roof rack brackets sandwiched in between the bedsides and top... Box side tops are mint.. No surprise as the rest of the truck is too beyond its dying 350. Pretty sure this trucks miles are so low and it's so clean because it failed air care (emissions) back in 2004 and ended up parked. Lol I agree with that. .... my 05 1500HD can walk those sacks of Tundras.... I really don't understand where guys get off thinking they are powerful, enjoyable or fast. And if you love your Tundra as an owner so much... go whine about your Chev on a Tundra board. Extremely dated truck... completely pathetic power band... and an open rear end! Winning! Great pavement pounder for yuppies that haul the kids to soccer practice. There is a reason nobody buys the damn things in any volume and it's not because they are awesome. Picked the truck up from the dealership today as they finished it. Got the 8 speed stator replacement tsb completed and so far so good. Much smoother shifting at low speed without clunk and hesitation that I honestly became used too. Also does not have the big delay when you shift it into gear anymore which is a huge change I enjoy. I will crawl under it when I get a chance and poke around as they had to pull the trans out of the truck to do this job. Plus I have to yank the intake manifold off and clean all the dirt out of it. .. and find a replacement lid for my airbox. The joys lol. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
