  1. Installed a set of Bilstein 5100's in rear of my new ride
  2. x2 on Amsoil severe gear I keep all 3 viscosity's in stock, it is amazing how much quieter motorcycle tranny's are running it over Petroleum lubes
  3. I went with GMC branded folding soft cover, works great stays dry. (mostly) only water intrusion is tailgate gap, which is minimal
  4. Baffling in the fender must be different as this setup on the '17 is quieter than it was on my '11, but pleasingly so. no drivability issues at all, weld in Magnaflow muff next
  5. I removed the Airaid MIT and K&N filter from my '11 Yukon before trading it. Installed it on my '17 the cast lug on the bottom that holds the rad hose on the earlier trucks needs to be drilled thru and tapped to 1/4" pipe for the second v/c breather. plumb up the valve covers and done!
  6. XD-S 45 iwb or S&W642 in pocket
  7. Had it just over a week......i'm in love except for converter shudder......but eventually it will get sorted out. 6.2 max tow
  8. 6.2 NHT 1/2 ton is the way to go! 6.0 power is terrible as is the fuel mileage, 2500's are great for towing but to not allow them the option of 6.2 is silly. My last rig was Denali Yukon xl, worked well with auto ride self leveling and was the only way to get 6.2. Now have 2017 6.2 max tow Sierra, headed to Fla in 3 wks.from NY Trailer is #8000
  9. This is my last hauler, replaced last week with Sierra 6.2 max tow. also tow 20' sea Ray, and open car trailer. Camper is #8000
