  1. You looking for something like this...
  2. I am planning on running the 2" SST kit with a set of 22x10 Hostile Sproket. The wheel has a -25 offset. We are going to use a 295/55/22. It might rub a little, but can do some trimming.
  3. Are you confident with the install? How much are they?
  4. I am going to pull the trigger on the AMP steps here in the next week or so. I've had them on my '15 Sierra and how zero problems with them. They are a must have in my opinion.
  5. Welcome to the right side! A few answers in-line above...
  6. Reading about the SST lift from Ready Lift (I'm actually going to go with the SST lift for the Trail Boss), they require a 20" wheel with a +0 offset. The 18" factory wheel hasn't been tested by Ready Lift, but I think it does sit too close to the larger upper control arm. 1/2" spacers should do the trick, but I'd be more concerned about not having enough thread on the lug nuts.
  7. I am getting ready to buy as well. When I bought the one of my '15 Sierra I called their number and asked for a better price. I paid $650 shipped, but that was 5 years ago. I might try the same thing with this top.
  8. The black powder coated billet bow-tie fro AMI doesn’t have tabs on the back. Billet emblems are metal, not molded plastic. it has 2 sets of threaded holes, and it come with all thread, washers, and nuts. The two threaded holes near the center align perfectly with holes in the grill, but you’ll have to pull the grill off to get to the hole. Perfect fit, size and curvature.
  9. That looks like they painted the factory emblem...or maybe a reproduction. I’m sure it will look great. Anything to get the chrome off the front end...as you can see I also pulled the Z71 logo out too. The one I installed is powder coated billet (heavy aluminum). I’m an old school mini-trucker so it’s a bummer I can’t get more billet on there, but I’ll take it where I can!
  10. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B011OCFNIQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I got it on Amazon. Better price then anywhere, but it’s available on anythingauto.com, carid.com, and the All Sales Website. The key is that it’s for a ‘15-‘20 Tahoe/Suburban. It will tell you it doesn’t fit your truck...but it does.
  11. Go to the Nitto Ridge Grappler site/page. Under tech specs it will give you a list of available sizes. There aren’t going to be too many for a 22” wheels so it should be easy to see what’s available and compare it to the other sizes (overall height, width, etc). Look to see if they make something very close in height and width to the factory tire...
  12. This is a ‘20 TB. There isn’t a black bow tie listed. I happened to have just replaced the RST bow tie on my ‘19 Tahoe with this same one. They matched up...so I ordered another. Fits perfectly.
  13. It’s the simple things that make a truck pop, right? this morning I swapped out the black/chrome factory bow-tie with an all black billet one from AMI.
  14. Just picked it up Monday. Very excited to start in this process. Long list of mods. Just wait and see!
  15. I'm looking into purchasing a 2020 Trail Boss in the next few weeks. I want to run a 325x50x22 and am hoping a 2" level in the front will do the trick. I don't mind trimming, but this is a big deal for me as the whole reason I'm going with the Trail Boss rather than an RST.
  16. I was hoping that GM would add the rear seat entertainment as an option so, like the Tahoe/Yukon/Subburban/Escalade, so that kids could have something to watch on long trips. Bummer...
  17. Agreed! Infact, I don't typically haul anything in my truck other than a couple of beach cruisers, luggage, snowboards, and maybe the grocery bags from a weekend shopping trip. I do have a Bedrug, which makes the back nice an cozy and I have slept back there. I would guess that if you did sleep in the bed, you wouldn't close the tailgate anyways, giving ample room no matter how tall you are. My crew cab short bed has a small lift and is less of a work-truck and more of a fun-truck.
  18. Thanks! I'm super happy with the entire setup. I almost went with the 285/55/20 but I am glad that I did not as I think that would look too small. To my surprise, I don't rub on anything and I get a full turn both directions. Its a perfect combo for a daily driver. I actually waited 3+ months for this color. I ordered it because I specifically wanted it with my list of options. I ordered in the beginning of July and it didn't start into production until the 2nd week in September.
  19. I don't think they are the same company anymore. I know about 10 years ago they were, but I think they split. Tread patterns used to be identical, but not anymore. I accidentally ran a set of Tera Grapplers on my last truck and I ran through them in about 30K, where-as the Open Country's I ran before lasted close to 50K. The fender trim is stock on the '15 GMC. You can opt for painted trim if you want...
  20. You're right, the Terra Grappler doesn't come in that size. They have a 285 (way too small) and a 305. I think the 305's look huge. I don't think they would rub if you did the exact same setup as I have, but if they did you could easily trim the inner fender liner. Just a big tire! Toyo is the way to go. I've been running Toyo tires on everything for the past 15 years. They have never done me wrong. I'd recommend them, and they are the same price point as Nitto...besides, at one point they were the same company.
