  1. Update for my Sierra - dropped it off at the local Chevy dealer (since my GMC dealer is 1+ hr away). They diagnosed the issue and are replacing the vacuum pump and belt at no charge for me. edit: truck is fixed and feels great!
  2. Is there a way for me to check for myself before I drop it off?
  3. I am original owner and you both are right. I forgot that this was taken to the shop before. I spoke with the local dealer and turns out that my truck was serviced for it back in Sept 2019 with a software flash. They won't check for free, I have to pay a $150 diagnostic fee, but will not be charged it if problem is there. I'm definitely feeling symptoms of this problem so it should be covered under the service bulletin. It'll be in the shop next week. Also, thanks for the more detailed explanation of what the issue could be from. My truck only has 65k.
  4. Interesting, thanks. I did put in my VIN in their recall and it said no recalls were found on my truck. I'll consult with my local dealer.
  5. My 2016 is having this issue, and not in warranty and not part of recall. What exactly was the fix so I can do it myself?
  6. His truck has a 6" lift, he doesn't have a stock truck.
  7. Yes, 2" level. Rear had about 2" raised as well from airbags for towing. Twenty Sixteen - see text below my avatar.
  8. I have 35" tires and they don't rub. 285/65r20 BFG ATs. They measure to be exactly 34.5"x11.5" on stock wheels. All I had to do was pull back the fenders, and they don't rub. Your desired size of 33x11.5 will fit no problem with stock wheels.
  9. Stock tires are always a POS anyways. I usually swap them out within 500 miles. People will buy your tires. I got $400 for my new take off tires.
  10. No interest in panoramic sunroof nor any sunroof at all. Maybe GM did the surveys and found out that it's going to be an extremely limited market.
  11. Didn't realize you were in GA until I saw the GON sticker. Whereabouts are you? I'm in Effingham. edit: another vote for firestone airbags from me. Love them for all of my wide variety of loads.
  12. factory wireless charger is a POS. I don't use it, don't bother. I'm actually surprised it's not in your LTZ. edit: your truck has a front bench seat? not a full center console?
  13. I just posted a TON here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/208894-16-sierra-slt-from-2016-to-present/
  14. Check out my truck, it has rear airbags instead of larger blocks: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/195653-just-wanted-to-show-off-my-truck/
  15. 12.5 will rub. No rub, see below how to fix. No rubbing if you do this to pull back the inner fenders: Here's how much clearance this gave me at full lock:
  16. Completely different. Mine are 285/65/20. 285/65r18 is exactly: 32.5" tall x 11.5" wide 285/65r20 is exactly: 34.5" tall x 11.5" wide. Source: https://shop.bfgoodrichtires.com/upload/bfgoodrich/specifications/All-Terrain%20T-A%20KO2-Off-Road%20Tires-TechSpecs.xls 2" difference is huge. BFG does not make a size for the 18" rim similar to my 20" size.
  17. 285/65r20. 2" RC level up front. 2" firestone airbag lift in rear.
