Westin Platinum Step Bars

Hey guys i ordered some step bars. i was debating between N-fabs and regular step bars like the Westins i got. i decided to go with the Westins because i didnt think the N-fabs would look right on a non-lifted vehicle. but when i get enough dough to lift my vehicle, i will be getting n-fabs. anyway here are some pics. sorry about the crappy quality, i took them with my phone at work.

do yours make noise when the cab flexes at all? ive tried moving my mounts and tightening the bolts. it helped some, but they still make some noise at times. are they hard to keep clean or shiny?

hard to keep shiny if you don't have the mudguards in the front. That is if you run over every puddle you see

do yours make noise when the cab flexes at all? ive tried moving my mounts and tightening the bolts. it helped some, but they still make some noise at times. are they hard to keep clean or shiny?

When i first had mine isntalled, they did make a creaking noise when I made a turn, so I took the truck back to where they were installed, and they tightened them up. The owner of the place mentioned that sometimes they install a shim to keep them from making a noise, but since then mine have been quiet.

+1 ... 2 washers did the trick for me.
