Air Shocks?

I need the left rear air shock on my 2003 Yukon Denali. Dealer wants between $6-800 to replace it. I think that's insane. Is there a better place to get them? Can I just buy one and put it on, or do I need to match it with the right side?

are you talking about air shocks or air bags?

 

If its air shocks, id replace them both at same time... if its an air bag, i would think you can replace just the bad one. but i would imagine there are some special crimped fittings on there.

Arnott is great. They even have some Bilstein/Arnott rear shocks on some models.

Please let me know how they work out. I have an 06 Envoy Denali that I know sooner or later will have to have the suspensions air bags replaced. So please let me know how the ride is after install especially how they perform if you are hauling and pulling something.
