Hey guys,

 

I found this forum while doing a bit of research on 5.3L upgrades and am very thankful for all of you sharing your knowledge. Been very helpful. Since I'll be hauling a 30+' enclosed trailer fairly signifigant miles in the near term, I've decided the best route is to suck up the initial cost and replace the 1500 w/ an 3500HD dualie w/ 6.6 Duramax.

 

Used prices on 5.3ls seem to be all over the map so I'm looking for feedback on a fair private party price for my 2000 5.3L ext. cab 4x4 LT with new shocks, brakes, tune-up. I'm not in any specific hurry e.t.c., so the loss dealers are asking me to accept is out of the question.
