Nerf Bar Question

Hi all,

 

I wanted to get a set of nerf bars (side steps) for my 2007 Sierra Crew Cab (New body style) and was wondering if you guys are running the 3" or the 4" and which one looks better? I was thinking that the 3" would look too skinny and small for a big truck? Any pics would help. Thanks!!!

Here is a pic of the 4" oval DeeZee boards on my truck. I'll see if I can't get a better shot for you later tonight

They look better in person. I have a crappy camera so the picture does not do it justice. But I really like them and I did not pay very much for them.

Have you looked into the AMP Research Power Running Boards? They're pretty bad a**, pricey but bad a**.

They fold in automatically so they won't effect your clearance when off-roading.

I just picked up my 2006 silverado ext cab 1500. would the 6" ovals be too large? What brand is the best and best place to mount them?

 

I notice you have same size truck. New to the 1500 series truck.

 

Need guidance from you guys/gals that have had these trucks for a while.
