New All Terrain Grill, Maybe?

Recommended Posts

I pulled into a local Lowes store and noticed a new 09 All Terrain Sierra with what looks like a Denali grill.

I got out my pen and paper and proceeded to write my phone number and ask if his stock grill was still available, just as I was writing it I noticed the guy coming out so I asked him, he says yea, I still have it.

I then ask if he was willing to sell it and if so how much? He says how's a $100.00 sound,,,,,,,,, I say I will take it.

My wife is suppose to pick it up tomorrow from his place of work which is right around the corner from her.

I may be jumping the gun here as I don't have possession yet but can anyone tell me what is all involved with removing mine and installing the new one?

I am not sure if there will be any parts other than the grill and if not what, if anything will I need to purchase?

Any info, links, tips, pictures, directions to another site etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.........Irv

i have no clue and Im sure its easy but for $100 Canadian it could take me 2 days to install it and I wouldnt care.....before I got the all terrain, the dealer quoted me $650 for it on my 08 regualr cab...thats a steal

You lucky bastard!!! I paid $275 for mine and that was $100 cheaper than list.

You shouldn't need any other parts, but replacing it can be a chore. But it isn't too bad and definitely worthwhile.

Thanks but that is why I am saying "I may be jumping the gun here"! Usually these to good to be true deals I find sometimes never work out for me

$650 for yours? Wow, no offence but I think your dealer was trying to pull a fast one, unless they have come down from then as a new one priced at my dealer is about $350-$375.00.

I've got my fingers crossed and won't know for sure until tomorrow around 2, hopefully for once I get lucky? Thanks.........Irv

Holy sheet, I guess all that is necessary?

I was kinda hoping it wouldn't be that difficult,,,, but like what was said above, for that price, if it takes 2 days it is still be worth it? Thanks everyone, I sure hope this works out and my wife is able to pick it up tomorrow?

I hope the guy doesn't frequent this site as I am sure it will either not be for sale anymore or he will now want $200,,,, if I am lucky?
