Ok Im new here.I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado Cre Cab Z71. I just put a 3" lift in it courtisy of torsion bar keys and 2" blocks in the back. I have 22" Wheels with 35" Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrains on it. What I want to know is it came with 3.73 gears in it. What do I need to do to get my gear ration back to stock ration with the big tires. Any info you guys can help me with I would greatly appreciate it alot. Thanks

I would do 4.56's or 4.88's. I don't do much hwy at all these days so the 4.88's will be better suited for me. Plus I plan to go to a 36 or 37 next time around for tires.

Also, if you can, get a picture of the front of your truck. A front shot of your suspension. 3" might be a little much and cause you to have bad ball joint angles, along with cv angles if you have a 4x4.

Nice truck J-man! So your saying go with the 4.56's then right? Also its going to get aligned at the end of the week after my shock brackets show up so I can take some tension of the torsion bars. I know what you mean bout the ball joints and cv angles.

According to Tirerack, your original tire was a 245/75/16 with a diameter of 30.5 inches. You didn't specify the size of your new tire, but according to the Nitto website, their LT 285/55/22 has a diameter of 34.37", and the LT 325/50/22 has a diameter of 34.84".

A new gear ratio will get your performance back, but I suspect it will take a tech with his tool to correct your computer for the speedometer error.
