Noise In Reverse

Recommended Posts

I have a 2008 Sierra Denali... It doesn't always do this but once it gets going a slow speed, usually in reverese, you can hear this vibration / rattle type noise that comes and goes intermittently. I would've sworn it was a loose heat shield or something around by the rear of the engine. It seems like it only happens at a certain harmonic frequency if that makes any sense. It mostly occurs with the wheel turned partially and most often in reverse. I've brought it to the dealer but they can't replicate the sound. Any ideas or any TSB's on it? I'm planning on taking the tech for a ride and see if I can replicate the noise. Let me know if anyone has a similair issue.

Thanks,

Rob
