I've never had a vehicle with these until now...and I'm pretty sure I want them off. I'm not benefiting from any of the stated advantages of having them, such as opening slightly in the rain or to leave vehicle in extreme heat. I also seldom drive with the windows open. Of course, I have to factor in my ignorance on the subject, since I've never had these - another reason for the poll. Do they offer much wind noise reduction with the windows rolled up?

They're the foam tape adhesive type (stuck to the door frame - on the paint) and I don't look forward to the removal nightmare, based on the many horror stories I've read. I guess "the grass is always greener..." but every other visor-less version I see around is looking better and better to me.

Curious to know everyone's aesthetic preference. Thanks to all who participate!

I've had them on a few trucks and like them. But it depends what kinda look you're going for. I don't think they look particularly bad, but not amazingly good either. They are convenient for leaving windows open a crack and do reduce wind noise if the window is open slightly.

Thanks, part of me thinks it could be more trouble to remove than it's worth.

I took mine off...Used a hair dryer......tape comes off off rather easily...be carefull not to get too close with the dryer....

T Loz, just curious why you took them off if you like them? To replace them?

I voted "with" because I do like the benefit of having them and I don't think they look bad either. I have had them on all four of the past trucks I've owned.

I think part of the reason you don't like is, as you stated, they are stuck to the paint. I prefer the "in channel" style made by WeatherTECH. If you do decide to remove them, just heat them up with a hair dryer and pull them of. If you have any residual adhesive remaining, use Goo Gone to take it off.....its citrus based and it won't harm the paint.

Thanks cev94, I think you're right; I'm not thrilled they're stuck on the paint for various reasons. Also as you mentioned, if I ever want them again (and done 'right'), I could just get the ones from weathertech. Thanks for the tip.
