Chevrolet 4l60e Trouble

I have a 1998 c1500 with 4l60E tranny 4.3 v6 125,000 miles When I start the truck it wont move for about 20-30 seconds then it moves and shifts fine. Is this simple or a tranny overhaul?

My El Camino SS acted this way, I thought it was just cause it was cold. The Elky got sold before I found out that was the first sign of a rebuild coming.

 

When the '70 C10 did the same thing I decided to ask about it...sure enough a good buddy told me that this was the beginning of a big problem. Very quickly it got much worse. I had it rebuilt soon afterwards.

 

There's not much time once this happens....you probably need a rebuild.
