Transmission Problems With My Chevy Express 3500

I've got a Chevy Express 3500 with 6.o Vortec, my truck has 120 000 km. At 105 km the original transmission broke down. I bought a used one, my friend installed it, it as been on my truck for 2 days, broken again after. I've send the truck back to the used part shop, he changes it again.I've ran for 2 weeks with, and broke it again. This time I've go to a tranny shop for a rebuilt, I've made 15 000 km woth and yesterday the truck had no more reverse. I bring it again there and now it rebuit again again.

I have put 22 inches wheels on the truckabout 15 000 km since the original tranny broke down. I do delivery with this truck, I keep it very clean ans when a load it it's equal on the floor, about 3000 pounds. I deliver newspapers. I would like to know if there's something I can to to not broke again the tranny, because some people told me that it was caused by the wheels??? Could it be that or there's another cause?

I'm not rough with the truck I drive it safely.

What could i do to fix the problem without removing the wheels?

If you have awnsers told me please!!!

thanks

JOE

It sounds like you have inexperienced repair shops doing the repairs. What actually went wrong each time you went to have it repaired? As for wheel size, it's irrelevant. It's total tire height that matters. I have 18" wheels but, with a tire it is 31" total. If your van seems sluggish, and you drive mostly in town, then you'll want to consider different gears for your rear end.

IThe height of the wheels are 32, because it's low profile. I ride mostly on highwaybut in town, it's sluggiah but what do you mean by considering different gears for my rear end??

The rear end will be a certain ratio identified inside the glove box on a label, called RPO codes. It starts with a G for the rear end on civilian trucks. It should be something like GT4 (3.73 ratio), GU6 (3.42 ratio), GT5 (4.10 ratio) and also it may have an ID code of G80 (Limited Slip positraction feature for your diff).
