2006 Envoy 4.2l Engine Noise

I have a noise coming from the front of the engine on my sister's 2006 Envoy w/ 4.2L. It's got a whiring/whining noise coming from the front of the engine. It sounds like it could be a pulley, but I am not sure which one. I'm thinking it could either be the idler pulley, tensioner or the pulley on the alt. You can hear it when it's just idling, but it's more noticeable when the engine is under a load, even at 5 mph it's very noticable, both inside and outside of the car. It has roungly 50k on it. Are any one of these pulleys prone to going out on these SUVs? Is there any way to test which one it might be or any other ideas on where the noise is coming from?
