Suburban 2500 Coolant Leak

Hey guys me again i had my suburban 2500 up on ramps for the steering work and the water pump appeared to be leaking a slow drip down the front of the block as i was working, i than placed the truck back on level ground and it stopped leaking i noticed about a pint of fluid missing from the resevoir but its now not leaking should i change it should i leave it it has 143000 miles on it and the fluid is original its rated for 150000 miles what do you recomend?????

if the water was from that area, I'd be replacing the pump and gaskets. Gaskets have been known to leak on these. But replace the pump.

 

Don't leave the coolant for 143k next time.
