How To Remove Mirrior Glass From Housing

When trying to move/control the driver outside mirror from the inside the mirror will not move. I want to check the connections from behind the mirror, but do not know how to remove the mirror glass from the housing. Any ideas??? does just snap in or held in by screws?

It's just snap-in. manually push the mirror all the way down and you should be able to either get your fingers behind the glass to release the clips, or use a small flat-head screw driver to do it. Just be careful not to catch any wires and pull them when you take the glass out.
