Wheel Offset Opinion Needed

im getting 22's with 305/40R22 tires, but the wheel comes in either a +20 or a +35 offset...my factory 20's i believe are +31 offset...and my factory wheels and tires have about an inch to go to get flush with the fender..and the factory wheel is 8.5in wide compared to my new wheel which is gonna be 9.5in wide...so i guess im kinda leaning towards the +35 cause i think the +20 will stick out past the fender wont it?
