6.0 Lq4 Hop-ups

I posted over on the the engine forum but there's not much traffic over there.

 

My 99 2500 LQ4 is in need of head gaskets. I thought I'd put some L76/L92 heads on it while I was at it. That leads to the next thing and the next and so on.

 

It addition to the stuff below, I'm probably thinking about a cam as well. My idea of what kind of cam I want would be a higher lift than the LQ4 but similar duration and overlap, to keep the low end for towing and mileage. Suggestions here would be appreciated as well.

I'm going to mod my LQ4 6.0L with some L76/L92 heads and intake manifold. My 99 2500 exhaust has a single catalytic converter and a terrible bend in the crossover pipe. I'm leaning toward at least a new crossover pipe and maybe dual cats. I would consider full headers and new dual cats and muffler if it weren't $2000 worth of stuff. I looked at the Dynatech and they seem to offer something like I am looking for, but they are pricey.

 

Any suggestions on exhaust systems would be appreciated. I'm not above heading to the local wrecking yards in LA for factory Escalade or Vmax stuff. But, that's further down the list.

 

Also, I have a manifold from a L76/L92 (truck type) coming and it's without the throttlebody. It does have the injectors and fuel rail, but the throttle body from that wouldn't work anyway, as it would have been a fly-by-wire throttle (my 99 2500 is cable operated). So, I need a throttle body and would like to go up to a 90mm if practical. The only cable driven one I've found was the Edelbrock. Any suggestions here would be appreciated as well.
