2008 Silverado Cruise Control Issues

A few weeks ago my cruise control stopped working intermittently. It seemed to be tied to the brake pedal, so I crawled under neither and made sure the stop switch was tight and no wires were damaged around the harness. It came back and worked perfectly for about 2 weeks. Now it wont. work at all. I was told by my dealer that this is not covered by my warranty and I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before i go and drop god know how much at the dealer.

Thanks!

Its Cruise....as in hooked to the engine and trans, etc....therefore Power train. I would think that it would be covered under the 5yr 100K

That's BS man.

Try taking it to another dealership.

Cruise is not warrantied in the 5yr 100k Powertrain its only covered in the bumper to bumper 3yr 36k warranty.

Well it should be...All electrical should be covered for the 5 year warranty for that matter.

Just a way to soak money out of customers, because a lot of mechanics just cant keep up with new car technology so you have to bring it to a dealer to get work done.:lol: Bastards

If you buy the FSM for your M&Y you can fix everthing on the vehicle your self.
