2007 Nnbs Radio Shorting Out

alright i did the 'antenna shave' mod that has been posted on here and it looked great and it seemed to work alright (little bit of loss of reception) last night.

i start my truck up this morning and as i am driving to work, my radio keeps cutting out, i am losing signal, and the power keeps cutting out to the radio and it turns off (no clock or anything totally dead) i hit the power button a few times and it will come back on.

ok well i am worried so at work i totally undo the antenna wiring and put it back just like it was stock and everything.. screw it down tight and my radio is STILL cutting out.. it is only when the truck is on and i dont think it has anything to do with the antenna shaving (which probably set it off)

does anyone have any ideas?

sometimes it will just snap on and off and reset the station and sometimes it will lose reception real quick and then sometimes it will be out for a few minutes until i hit the power button back on.

please help!

i can take video of it if needed.. but i think i described the problem well enough. if this is in the wrong forum, please let me know.

also, i looked at the fuse panel, does anyone know which is the radio fuse in the new body styles?

loose connection to the radio. speakers weren't working either. I am an idiot.

fixed. everyone have a great day!! got my exhaust put in today (magnaflow 12559 18" with a dual-tip side exit.

sounds intense. rc leveling kit should be comin in the mail soon.

gonna give the antenna shave another go.

i am working on getting more pics.. i wanna get everything done first.. i got a quick snap of the exhaust put on today at work.. nothing fancy looking but you get the general idea.

it's a lot louder than i wanted it to be and it kinda whistles almost with the split-tip, but it sounds real good at low rpm and idle.. as long as i dont get on it too much.

my RC leveling kit just came in so i'm prob gonna try to get that installed/alignment either tomorrow or friday (going hunting friday)

i am also in the market for an intake.. any suggestions? really looking for the best value.. might just drop in a k&n filter, but i am considering an entire FIPK system or something.. i found 'em for $225 free shipping online.. unless y'all got a better one or if i could make one myself or something.
