Envoy "CD/AUX" button

I am sorry if this topic has been discussed (I scanned, but didn't see anything), but I am wondering if anyone has explored the BOSE stereo capabilities regarding AUX input (e.g. MP3 player input).

:music:

The button for CD changer selection is labeled "CD AUX", leading me to wonder if there is an AUX input available at the back of the unit, perhaps. The similar button on the BOSE stereo in my old 99 Envoy used to switch betweent the CD changer and the tape deck, but there is no tape deck in the new truck.I would love to be able to have an MP3 player hooked up in my new truck.

If anyone has any other suggestions, please post them as well.

Thanks everyone. :D

unfortunaly it cant be done easily, gm radios aux cd and tape decks all have a harness that plugs into the radio and the aux unit(not sure on how many wires) but if you could fiqure out what wires are for the signal it might be possible

as far as i know the aux isnt really much of an aux. it only works with stock equipment like a tape or cd player. so it could be added (if you didnt option it that way when you got it new) later. to have a real input you'd have to get a new deck.
