Driver's Side Seat Warmer Shuts Off

2003 Yukon Xl, recently had a malfunctioning seat warmer on the drivers side. It will initially turn on for about 5 seconds, then shuts off automatically. If pushed again, it turns on then off right away. It now has a click that comes from the button on the door as well as under the seat. The passanger side seat still works. Is it the heating element? Doesn't seem to be wiring if it will send a current. Maybe i'm wrong. Any help? Not excited about going in to the dealer to get a multiple answers for a big $$$$.
