Escalade/Denali inDash 6CD into Silverado

Reference to current generation Escalade and Silverado.

 

Has anyone adapted the inDash 6CD changer in the center console with the Escalade's dash plate instead of the Silverado's CD holder and cassette/single CD piece?  I know people have used the indash changer, but they 'mutilated' the remote cassette/cd opening.

 

I can't really find decent pictures of the Escalade's center console to see if the bottom piece is the same and if just the top part for the Escalade bolts in.
