Help! 1999 Suburban Blows Heat Out Floor Only.

I bought this 99 Suburban strictly for towing my snowmobile trailer and never noticed the mode control doesn't change anything. Heat only blows out floor and I desperately need the defroster.

 

I'm headed up north tomorrow and need a quick solution. I'm hoping someone can quickly reply with some direction...

 

My 'burb is the last year of the larger body (1999) and would be different than the 99 GM trucks.

Still needing help. Made it back from my trip but had issues with fogging. Where should I start looking?

You need an actuator. There are two. One for the blend door and one for the vents. Can't help with a part number but your dealer should be able to find the part based on your description.

 

I lost the blend door actuator on my 01 Tahoe and IIRC it was less than $30 for the part and 30 minutes to replace.
