The letter home

"Dear, Uncle Jack

 

 

How have you been? We've been doing fine these past few months, but there were a few "incidents".

 

A couple months back, Daddy locked the keys to his car in his car. It was not a pretty sight, It took him four days to figure out how to "jibby" the lock from the outside. And when he finally unlocked the door, Mom was freed, and boy was she pissed!

 

 

Grandpa Norman tried to send you that L.L. Bean Jackett you like for christmas, but the people at Fed-Ex told him it was too bulky, So he cut the buttons off, put them in the chest-pocket, and cut about 4" off the sleeves. He wants to know how you like the coat.

 

There was a Tradgedy here about a month ago. My brother Gary was driving his Pick-up, when he went off of a  Bridge and fell into the river, he crawled out the window and survived, but his 3 friends in the bed of the truck drowned cause they couldn't get the Tail-gate to open.

 

 

Other than those incidents, it's been ok.
