This Normal?

my 04 bumps from 2nd to 3rd is that normal? it also seems to bump harshly if it downshifts under load...i know i read some where when the GMT800s came out alot of people complained of the bumping on the half ton trannys and GM came out and said it was normal and not harmful but i can't seem to find it any where...i got 100k on it but its always done it

I cant remember if mine did it or not before the tune...it certainly doesn't do it now. You should really look into getting a mail order tune, makes your truck work a whole lot better, saves you fuel and gives you a little more power too.

been pondering it, the thing is i feel like i'm maybe on borrowed time now being at 100k on the OEM tranny(knock on wood)

Either way...A tune may help you extend its life. And it will surly make the inevitable replacement trans last much longer.
