I need to get a new computer for my '97 Sierra 1500. Its an x-cab s/b 4x4 with 5.7 and 4l60-E. I was told that if I put a computer from the same year truck, but from a suburban or 2500, it would increase my power a little bit due to the factory computer settings being adjusted for a heavier truck. I was just curious if this was true or not. Thanks.
