Rough Country Leveling Kit

Hey Everyone,

I know a lot of you have the Rough Country Levels out there but, I was just wondering whether you guys got the full kit w/ the Nitro 9000 shocks and 3" blocks or just the keys themselves? And if you could please explain why you went with one or the other. I know stock keys can achieve almost the same as the aftermarket ones bust just want to be more educated on the whole subject. I am going with a level and BL becuase there are "a lot" of members on here that prove that the two together look just as good as the 3x+ more in cost SL. Also for those of you that had an after market exhuast set up on there before the body lift, what did you guys do? Problems? I've heard there would be some...(wrong place to ask I know, sorry ). The 2002 factory keys do allow for quite a bit of adjustment. As far as just the key vs. the full kit, the 2002 trucks ranged from 1" tail high to 3" tail high depending on cab configuration. The best thing to do it measure your truck from center of hub to wheel well both front and back and decide how much you want to lift the rear. A kit coming with keys and a 3" rear block is more than likely to leave your truck level to tail low. The big question is what size tire do you want to run?

thanks for responding. i currently have 285/75/16's on the 02 with just a little t bar crank. i'm hoping i can get away with 35's on 20's with the leveling kit and 3" bl. they're are always people selling there toyo mt's or coorper stt's on craigslist where i live for dirt cheap. it's worth a shot even if i have to trim a little.
