Front Radio Speakers Work On And Off

I have a 2005 Silverado and lately I have had a problem with my front speakers working and not working...I checked the wires at both speakers and they are ok....has anyone had this happen and found a fix for it...is it the radio itself ?

Check the foams that hold the speaker to the metal/plastic housing....just replaced both of mine which had the same problem.
