Factory 20" Ltz Tire Question.

I've been searching but can't seem to find a defenite answer to my question. I have a 2009 Silverado Crew Cab that I put a take off set of 20" LTZ rims and tires on. I plan on levelling the truck with the Rough Country 2" kit so I want to put a little bigger tire on the truck. My question is what is the best tire size to go with that won't rub on my GM moulded mud gaurds? How much room is left to spare if I go with a 285/55/20 or 275/60/20? Anyone have any pics of 20" LTZ rims with larger tires? Thanks alot everyone.

With a 2" level you are pretty much limited to a 33" tire. The two options you posted have diameters of:

* 285/55/20 - 32.34"dia.

* 275/60/20 - 32.99"dia.

I will be buying tires soon. I have a 2" leveling kit and 18" rims. I have decided not to push the limits and go with a 285/65/18 tire. This is around 32.5".

Hope this helps!!
