Keeping Door Panel Clean

Recommended Posts

I have the light colored door panel. I was wondering the best way to keep it clean especially the area that is used to close the door. it get oil and dirt from your hands all over it. I am refering to the handle that is behind the lock button. I have included a picture to show you the color I have. i didn't know if there was any type of clear tape to cover it with so it is easier to keep clean.

The top part is black and the lower part is light gray.

I suppose you could wrap a shop rag around it and completely tape it in place. The tape will prevent fluids from seeping into the rag and the rag will prevent the adhesive of the tape to contact the handle. It's gonna look like crap, but at least your door handle will be clean
