2005 gmc 2500hd lly duramax truck just compleatly died will not turn over i can manually jump starter and it will turn the motor over but when you go to start the truck with the key it will not do anything other than lights and radio they all work. i have 2 brand new hot batteries and started going through the fuses checking everything. with the key in the on position the only fuses that i have no power to is the ecm and pcm i thinks thats what it was when the key is turned as if you were to start the truck the crank fuse lighs up the test light as it should. as well the truck isnt throwing any trouble codes what so ever. im thinking that it is the ignition box under the steering wheel. any ideas?

take it in to a dealer man,you are reaching ,dont throw parts at it

i second the dealer, i haven't heard of alot of problems with the dirty maxs, besides the injectors..

sounds like the starter relay.

If you can jump across the starter and get it to turn over, it sounds like a starter rela/solenoid....hopefully something simple and cheap

There are no PCM's on my 1985 Mercedes 300D turbo diesel.
