Tailpipe Expander?

Has anyone had any experience with this tailpipe expander?

I'm curious as to why you guys say it's junk, my buddy has a pipe bender with one of those built in, but it is ran by hydraulics, not a hammer, but I don't see why that wouldn't work

Absolute junk...I've tried similiar one (actually more expensive) that you use an impact hammer and broke it.

 

The one you put a link to was only up to 2"...not sure if you noticed...then again I'm not sure what you are using it for.

 

I messed around with my exhaust and finally bought this TOOL <----Click link.

 

I shopped around on-line and found it for $71, I also bought every die that was available for it which raised the price up a bit.

 

It has ball bearings and is very heavy duty and worked great. Stretched my pipes so I could slide my electric cut-out in.

Yup...had one similar at the shop...lasted like 3 weeks....that's how long it took for 2 poeple to use it....it broke on the second job

 

We got something like what you linked up there but from Snap-on...or MAC and it has been used a hundred times.
